Issue 04. JUNE 2023

Welcome to Chatty Crafters monthly newsletter.

Our aim is to keep our members informed of up and coming events.

Our trip to Edinburgh for Afternoon Tea in the Charlotte Rooms, giving us an Orient Express Experience was a huge success and our members gave a real feel of sophistication by dressing in all their finery, including the wearing of  ‘fascinators’.

Sessions held every Tuesday afternoon, Eastfield Community Centre

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Birthday wishes this month go to 6 of our members.

Susan Bussens, Brian Loch, Karen Liddell, Anne Crawford, Elaine Donnelly and lastly Helen Leggat.

Community Garden.

With the summer weather having arrived our garden continues to thrive.

We welcome any volunteers who can spare a few hours a week to help, even those of you who are not ‘green-fingered’ can help in pulling out weeds or even just brushing up around the site to keep the area nice and tidy thereby a joy to sit out in.

Some of our members working ‘hands on’ in the Sensory garden……….

CRAFTING WORKSHOPS

The introduction of a sewing machine has been a great success and Jane has been a great help in ensuring that all members had a lap bag made for their individual use and we look forward to any ideas as to what other items can be made with a view to making items that could be sold at our Christmas Fete thereby increasing our funds.

Any volunteers to help in the garden would be most welcome.
