Our aim is to keep our members informed of up and coming events.

 

Sessions held every Tuesday afternoon, Eastfield Community Centre

BIRTHDAY WISHES

Brian C celebrates his birthday this month in November.

Chatty Crafters – celebrating two years of

Crafting at Eastfield Community Centre.

The occasion was celebrated at Equi’s where

Everyone enjoyed a main meal, dessert, tea / coffee

And soft drinks.  A cake was made in honour of the event.

Forthcoming events -

November –

18th November – Christmas Fayre at Eastfield Community Centre.

11.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.

Please note, we have limited storage space at the Centre and therefore would ask that anyone wishing to donate any items for selling do so nearer the time.

21st November – Health and Happy – Energy Saving Chat.

 

December –

5th December – Christmas lunch – The Parkville Hotel, Blantyre.

12th December – Workshop for Xmas Table Decorations.

13th Dec – Rat Pack singalong at Concert Hall 7.30 pm- please arrive outside around 7.00pm to collect tickets

 

2024 – We are pleased to welcome Health ‘n’ Happy in leading the following sessions:

You can look forward to a variety of sessions in the New Year i.e.  16th January - Stress Balls, 30th January -  Body Boost Bingo and 13th February -  Marbling Session.

Busy times ahead.               

VASLAN Third Sector Awards - 2023

Chatty Crafters put forward Muriel for the Environmental Outdoor Activity Award.

The award is to celebrate the achievements of organisations who have made exceptional use of their outdoors to benefit their community.  Muriel has made it through to the short  list of 3. The award ceremony will be held at Hamilton Academicals F.C. on Thursday 23rd November when the winner will be announced.  

 

We wish you all the best Muriel.

 

Carol and Brian join in Chatty Crafters at the same time as the group at Eastfield, only whilst on a Mediterranean cruise.
