Gardening Section

Carol and Evelyn have been doing a great job clearing up.

Blubs have been planted for the spring.

Now that the clocks have moved back, we have gained some daylight which will help our volunteers with their work in the garden and surrounding grounds.

Please watch out for the falling leaves as this may cause the grounds to be quite slippery.

15TH October –Anniversary & Retirement lunch at Carrigan’s.

A Smashing Time!!!!

Books

Within the community hall, there is a bookcase [full of books]. Any avid reader is welcome to take these to read, but we ask you to return them when finished so others may enjoy. Indeed, if you have books at home that you no longer need, we would be happy to accept them so that others may enjoy.

Craft Show at the SECC

Our Committee members attended the Craft Show at the SECC in October, and a Bow Maker was purchased for the use of our members. Demonstration will be shown as this will be a great asset to all wishing to make bows.

Note: Anne Crawford is collecting empty drinks cans and bottles that are exchanged at Lidl for vouchers. This helps our funding, so please help by bringing your ‘empties’ into the centre.
Many thanks.

IMPORTANT

As we no longer have hall staff we ask that everyone assist in wiping/moving tables/ chairs and clearing up at the end of each session.
Thank you.
